Hans-Georg Eckert, Vorsitzender Richter a. D., leitete bis Mai 2007 den für Mietrecht und Insolvenzrecht zuständigen Fachsenat des OLG Rostocks. Im Münchener Kommentar zur Insolvenzordnung (2. Auflage 2007) kommentiert er die §§ 108-112.Wolfgang Ball gehört seit 1991 dem u.a. für das Miet-, Pacht- und Leasingrecht zuständigen VIII. Zivilsenat des BGH an und ist seit August 2006 Vorsitzender dieses Senats. Es war dort schwerpunktmäßig mit dem Leasingrecht befasst und führt den bis zur 7. Auflage vom Vorsitzenden Richter am BGH i.R. Eckard Wolf bearbeiteten Leasingteil im ''Wolf/Eckert/Ball, Handbuch des gewerblichen Miet-, Pacht- und Leasingrechts'' fort.
